Marc by Marc Jacobs has once again collaborated with London illustrator... Will Broome... to create a black & white tote.. Little Miss Marc Pirate is featured and for the 1st time??? Will Broome's name is on the tote together with MBMJ classic leather plaque as well...
Not sure if this bag is for sale... it's seems to be associated with what looks to be a Will Broome exhibition... currently being held in Hong Kong's New Crown Plaza....
In case you are unaware... Will Broome is the one who created many of MBMJ iconic characters... Miss Marc... my fave Mr Marc... Monster Face... or as I like to call it...Panda... for MBMJ 10th Anniversary...
Besides working with MBMJ... Will Broome has worked with Topshop... Wedgewood...
Do check out this link to see more of Will Broome's whimsical art... luv luv luv

Drooling... literally... over Bread Talk Choco Cream Bun
Yummilicious... is the way I would describe it...
My recent food obsession... craze... is an item from Bread Talk... Choco cream cheese bun...
It's soft on the outside... with sprinkled coco powder... creamy chocolate cheese on the inside...
It's heavenly with a cup of coffee...
At just S$1.40 per bun... it's a 'cheap' but satisfying treat...

Drooling over... Vivienne Westwood Charity Bag
OMGdness... this is probably the only chance.... ever.... to own a Vivienne Westwood bag... without an arm or a leg... maybe... half a arm???
In collaboration with Taiwan magazine MILK... Vivienne Westwood has created a canvas tote bag... with faux leather straps... embellished with printed on... Parrots???... iconic Anglomania...complete with bag charm... a faux leather tassel... for charity...
Unfortunately... it is ONLY available in Taiwan...
SIGH...
At just NT 5200... About S$220... It's stylish and for a good cause...
I will just continue to drool over it... since I have no friends in Taiwan to help me get one...

Drooling over... Marc by Marc Jacobs Padlock Necklace
Been busy busy busy...
Saw this on MBMJ online...
New from F/W 2011 Special Items...
MBMJ Padlock Necklace with Keys... with the not so polite inscription... ha ha ha...
It's 'reeking' attitude...
Hmm... if only I had my own inscription machinery... I could make one at home... ebay have a few for sale... but as usual... the mark up is at least 2 times the retail price!!! without shipping!!!
Oh well... hope one my friends can get one for me either from New York or Hong Kong...
Wonder if they carry Special Items in the MBMJ in Tokyo.... Hmmmm...
At just US$15... it is totally drool worthy.... ONLY IF... you get them from the MBMJ stores...

My Shopping Conquest... Mono Max GWP... Fred Perry Laurel Wreath Folder
I have been drooling over this...
So I was at Kino... at 2pm sharp... to lay my hands on it... the moment it was placed on the shelves...
Kino brought in more than their usual quantity of Mono Max... October issue... probably anticipating the popularity of any Fred Perry GWP...
Mono Max is a japanese men's lifestyle magazine that features almost entirely on men's accessories... bags... shoes... watches...
It's pretty fun to flip thru and see/drool over all the latest trends/accessories for men...
When I left... there were easily 50 copies of Mono Max still...
Made of nylon and lined entirely in red felt... with a interior contrasting flap... the workmanship at first looks good... sewing and seams are neat and tight... the classic laurel wreath insignia...printed on in gold... was aligned and not sloppy...
But on closer inspection... the were fine nicks... all over... on the nylon exterior...
It could be... mine is just so... Bummer...
Overall... it is still a fine GWP and would make a good file for A4 documents or laptops of certain specification...13 inch and under... my Acer lap is too big for it...
Which is fine cause I had intended to use it as a clutch...
Next month GWP... a Porter Yoshida & Co. Swiss Army Knife...
At S$20.20 before Kino member 10% discount... it's a useful Fred Perry steal...

Finally got my hands on... Biscuit Toy Camera
I have been drooling over Japanese mook... Toy Camera vol. 2... Biscuit camera... ever since I knew about it...
It is a mini size... working... digital camera... super lightweight... uses only 1 AAA battery... come with it own computer software & mini usb cable for editing and storing...
It's a bring all over camera since it is also a key chain/fob!!!
My only pet peeve... it doesn't come with its own LCD screen so you can't see immediately how the shots turn out...
Besides being a 'normal' digital camera... It can work as a lomo camera but digital as well... how cool is that...
I just need to figure out how to use it... since the manual is in Japanese...
Got to go get some battery and check it out...

Drooling... literally... over Mooncakes
"Fly me to the moon... and let me play among the stars..."
Once a year... we remember the beautiful but lonely moon goddess... Chang Er... in Guan Han Gong... the jade rabbit...
It's Mid Autumn night...
Unfortunately... the haze is blocking out the moon... making it blurry... Bummer...
But on another note... have you had your moon cakes???
My all time fave mooncakes are from Lavender...
No Mid Autumn is complete for me without these...
Golden Jade... pandan flavoured white lotus...
Golden Jade Gem... pandan flavoured white lotus with a green bean center and yolk... heavenly...
I luv luv luv these... every year... I would specially buy them from J.B....
Yes... I know...
Lavender is available here but it just seems so much more yummier when it is bought from Malaysia...
While picking up Lavender... I was intrigued by this...
From Yong Sheng...
White Lotus Mocha... white lotus with a mocha flavoured center... chocolate flavoured skin...
It taste more like cake... than traditional mooncake... new found luv...
Another must have... From Raffles Hotel... Royal China...
White Lotus with double yolk... very very premium in taste...price... ouch... the paste is smooth and not coy... melts in your mouth...

Mooncakes are yummy... but the strange thing is... I never crave for them any other time... other than on Mid Autumn night...

Drooling... literally... over The Asian Kitchen... NOT
JW & I... celebrated our Mid Autumn reunion dinner today... tomorrow being the actual... but as usual... JW will have to work late...
We had Asian Food Kitchen... JW was in the mood for xiao long bao & la mian... at Vivo...
Personally... I would have preferred Paradise Dynasty... their la mian is... imo... better in texture and taste than the others...
We had xiao long bao...
Wu xiang...
JW... sichuan hot & sour soup la mian...
I had zha jiang mian...
The food was average...la mian was a tad soggy... nothing to rave about... like I said... I would have preferred Paradise Dynasty...
But...
I would have sat by the roadside... and ate dry crackers... if it meant... JW and I could have a meal together...
So this was already a notch up... ha ha ha...

Finally got my hands on... Agnes b. Pouch... Elle HK GWP
Early bird catches the worm...
How true... I finally got hold of a copy of the very limited quantity Elle HK September issue... that came bundled with a lovely... polka dot printed... nylon Agnes b. toiletries pouch...
I missed it last weekend because I dilly dallied and got to Kinokuniya late...
All editions were sold out 15 mins into opening... But the ever efficient and ever so helpful Kino staff told me more would arrive today..
I was there at 10am sharp when Kino opened their doors... But was dismayed to find no copies on the shelves... OMG... did I missed it again???!!!
So once again... I approached the wonderful counter staff and said...
"I missed it... again..."
To which she gave a lovely smile... and pulled out a copy of Elle HK September issue... with the Agnes b. pouch!!!
Apparently... they are limiting only one copy to each customer... unless you brought along friends... you are not going to be able to get/pay for more than one copy...
Sorry Sista CT...
This Agnes b. pouch is one of the best made GWP...
Imo... even surpassing the recent Agnes b. Japanese F/W 2011 mook... which was a tad disappointing...
Stripes and polka dots are featured heavily on clothes and accessories this season for Agnes b. ...
The polka dotted pouch with printed signature b. in gold... holds it's shape well... is nicely sewn... comes with 2 interior pockets...
Perfect for travel... one could easily pack toothbrushes... paste... facial wash and even travel size beauty products and still have room for little knick knacks...
It could also be used as a bag organiser or just on it's own...
Luv luv luv...
It was so worth waking up for...
The magazine itself... is worth it's own weight... literally...
Bundled with Elle Beauty... the magazine features the latest F/W... as well as upcoming trends...
Best of all... it has a 3 page article on my fave Mr Marc Jacobs... Louis Vuitton... fetish inspired F/W 2011 collection...
Another good read is the brief history of luxury house... Gucci....
Well worth the price tag of S$21.40 before Kino member 10% discount...
In comparison... The Marie Claire September issue... GWP... faux python 2 tone clutch... paled in comparison...
At S$14.90 before Kino member 10% discount... I was really just paying for the clutch...
In terms of articles... there wasn't anything interesting to read... the fashion spread were limited... boring... loads of adverts...
The 2 tone clutch which I have been drooling over... was in fact... pretty well made/sewn too... made of vinyl... with a faux python effect and lined with felt... I luv how the 'scales' lined up...
It is very in trend and very Celine in look... plus it is of a substantial size and is sturdy...
My only pet peeves are...
I wished I had the red or grey version... Kino only had it in this color...
The very cheap looking zipper pull...
Wonder if I can get that changed...
Hmm...

How Cute Is That... Smurfs The Movie... Pook-A-Looz... Mickey Tee...
Just got back from watching... Smurfs The Movie... with RG & KW...
I was not keen initially when I first saw the trailers during HP7... but going through my collection of smurf toys kinda made me want to 'reunite' with some old 'friends'...
I was glad I did...
Granted the plot was predictable and coy at times... smurfs going through a vortex ends up in modern day New York... that's all I will say... in case anyone wants to catch it... good vs evil... though I would hardly consider Gargamel diabolical... who stole many of the shows funny moments... thanks to the acting brilliance of Hank Azaria...
Good triumphs over evil and it's all la... la... la... smurf happily ever after ending...
Witty jokes... with a smattering of slap stick... my fave being the scene at FAO Schwarz... help made the movie smurfjoyable...
Plus it was nice to see all the smurfs and smurf village... again...
http://youtu.be/YmIxD2dX-u4
Truly for die hard smurf fans to relive all the smurfiess...
KW... this is for you... just don't annoy RG with it...
http://youtu.be/liv3OJgcVc8
While on the subject of cute... here are 3 more gachapon Pook-a-Looz I got today...
Unlike the previous Pook-a-Looz gachapons... These are totally different... made of felt like fabric... with printed detailing and soft stuffing... they look more like their retail counterparts...
This series feature five designs... I am missing Alice In Wonderland & Minnie...
I got... Mickey... Cheshire Cat... Winnie the Pooh
Time for... a change... Tigger to have a rest... I have since... added both gachapon Mickeys to my Mickey Le Chine key fob...
Genuine Disney Mickey Mouse Tee that I bought recently from J.B.'s FOS...
What a steal for MYR39.90...
A kick start to a super cute weekend...
