Agnes b. is currently having a up to 80% off sale at Isetan Scotts...

I was there on the 1st day... 18th of Nov... but was disappointed... many of the sale items... bags, accessories and some clothing... most at 60% or 80% off... were 'left overs'... from previous such sale event... a few too many seasons ago...

Not many 'new' items were on sale...

But the great price point were helping the items 'fly off' the tables and sale bins... especially the accessories... which were going at 80% off... but there were not many to choose from... or worth parting my cash for...

Ever since I got the iphone... as my birthday present from JW...

I have been looking for a 'protective' cover for the phone... I have been drooling over a few of the Marc by Marc Jacobs iphone covers on ebay...

I have shortlisted a few candidates and am just waiting for the right time and price to pounce on one...

So for the meantime...

I thought I should purchase a really inexpensive... but stylish... transitional... cover... just to protect my iphone... I have butter fingers... so a protective cover is essential for drops and spills...

After scouring around... I realised that even the cheap ones are not that cheap... average of S$10 and up... I had wanted to get the Diaso ones but they are all sold out... Rats...

But today... I found one that I really liked and at a good price point from... Mini Toons...

Their store slogan... Trends you can afford...

Guess what came in the mail today...

All the way from good old London...

Something I have been longing for... for quite some time...

Ever since I saw the D&G ring on ASOS... together with another D&G item... D&G Lover bracelet... I have been drooling over them... But the GBP100 price tag for the bracelet and GBP80 for the ring kept me at bay...

During the last Tang's member's rebate sale... I spotted the D&G Lover bracelet on display... together with a sale tag of 50% off the retail price of S$295... and being the last piece... with 12% rebate...

I bought it on the spot and brought it home... but never got around to wearing it... protective cover still intact... because I was hoping to 'marry' it with the ring...

The bracelet had long since sold out on ASOS... but who cares... I already own the bracelet... and at an even cheaper price... muah ha... ha... ha...

It's the ring... my precious...

So... when ASOS had the ring at 50% off ... and since Tang's did not carry it... I knew... it was buy or never...

JW presented me with my birthday present...

Apple iphone 4s...

A little belated... but for a good reason... My previous contract expired only yesterday...

It has become a tradition of sorts... every other year... JW will offer to present me with a new handset as my birthday present since my handset contract usually ends around the same time...

Of course... I could ask for anything else but this year I really really really needed a new handset... because my old handset... also a birthday present from JW... 2 years ago... has 'died' on me...

Thank you dear dear... not just for the gift... but for always being supportive in whatever I do and whatever I want (ed to buy)... for putting up with my tantrums... for giving in to my every whim and fancy... and for the many sacrifices...  so that I may always get what I wanted...

Korilakkuma... from San X... is a bear that luvs to just lounge around and look silly... I guess in the uber stressed Japanese work force... what this little bear does is the envy of many...

Drooling... literally... over Dorayaki & Green Tea...

I had a craving for dorayaki... japanese pancake... with a red bean filling... so I picked one up from Four Leaves Bakery...

I have tasted better dorayaki before... but at S$1.30... this was okay for easing a sudden crave...

To complete the 'experience'... I bought a box of green tea... Harada Yabukita Blend Green Tea... imported from Japan... This taste so good for S$6.95... 50 bags... Trust me... pay a bit more for the Japan imported ones... they taste 100 times better than those from China or Taiwan...

Of course... for my upcoming Tokyo trip... which is exactly 4 weeks from today... I will get to feast on authentic dorayaki... especially the seasonal ones from Hachi No Ya...

For Fall... they are offering a chestnut flavoured dorayaki... Kuridora... Wonder if they would still have these available when we are there... fingers crossed...

As if he is not busy enough... being creative director of LVMH... his own Marc Jacobs and diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs... My fave designer... Mr Marc Jacobs has announced that he will be making his acting debut... in the new indie film... Disconnect...

Currently filming in New York... the film, plot and Mr Marc Jacobs character are still a hush hush...

But...

Rmour has it... don't quote me... the film... is centered around people in search of emotional connection in today's wired world... Mr Marc Jacobs will be playing a character... somewhat of a 'porn baron'... who uploads naked photos....of himself???!!! on to the net....

Rumour also has it... again do not quote me... that we might even get to see more of him than his very... very... provocative Bang fragrance ads...

You know... the ones where he is lying naked with a huge bottle of Bang covering his...

He will star along side Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgrad, Paula Patton, Frank Grillo and Michael Nyqvist... The film will be directed by Henry Alex Rubin...

Drooling... literally... over Kit Kat Mini Otona No Amasa

Japanese had all along enjoyed many things... from designer goods to food stuff... that are EXCLUSIVE only to the Japanese market...

Nestle's Kit Kat happens to be one of them... Besides their seasonal release of sakura scented and ocha flavoured... among many others... is this...

Kit Kat... Mini Otona No Amasa... or... 'sweetness of adult'...

As the name suggests... it's meant more for adults... rather than kids... as this Kit Kat is made of bitter dark chocolate... with crushed dark chocolate cookie bits... within the wafers...

IMO... it's not that bitter... in fact it's not bitter at all... at least not dark chocolate type of bitter... maybe less sweet... but definitely richer in taste than your classic Kit Kat... the crushed cookie bits does give it more crunch too....

Smaller than the classic Kit Kat... it comes packaged in a box of 3 or in fun pack...

At S$2.20 for a box... it's a nice change...

Yesterday...

While en route to Isetan Scotts with RG & KW... from ION... we passed by Marks&Spencer and was 'distracted' by their display of Christmas gift wraps and food hampers...

In particular... for me... a cookie tin... printed with whimsical Woodland animals... I HEART Woodland animals... bears... owls...reindeers and my fave... a pair of little foxes... all dressed in cheery winter/Christmas garb...

As if that is not cute enough...

This little ingenious cookie tin... filled with white chocolate chip cookies... one of my fave... comes with a peek a boo inner layer... double up as a musical box... wind the knob at the bottom of the tin to play the Christmas carol... Jingle Bells...and watch the inner layer ROTATES!!!

This little piece of pure joy and delight is a collaboration/project between M&S and Scandinavian graphic designer... the very talented Sandra Isaksson... who not only did this to die for tin... as well as a whole host of Christmas packing's for M&S... all with illustrations of the same cute Woodland animals...

Sandra Isaksson... is also the founder and head designer of Scandinavian and British fusion brand... ISAK... where she creates a whole range of beautiful happy things for the modern... whimsical loving... homes...

My Shopping Conquest from River Island... Cobalt Blue & Mocha Checkered Shirt

River Island had a sale last week... This was the only item I really liked and felt worthwhile to buy...

IMO... River Island's sale... in general... is nothing to rave about...

Unlike Topman... whose sale is something I always eagerly await for... Topman had their sale recently too... from which I picked up a pair of navy blue Skinny Carrot and a Cafe colored trench coat for my upcoming Tokyo trip...

Cobalt blue & mocha checkered long sleeve shirt... with snap buttons...

It's nothing spectacular... checkered shirts abound... What I really luv is the 'designer chic' combination of the blue and brown tones... plus the cut of the shirt is good...

And...

I currently do not have any 'snap buttons' in my wardrobe... I just luv how snap buttons makes a 'pop' sound when you 'rip' open the shirt... kinky...

Another perfect item for my Tokyo trip???

I picked up some cheap but whimsical pouches from AMK Hub... I just couldn't resist the vibrant and cute prints... Though they made no attempt to pass off as the genuine item... I think 'they' were obviously 'inspired' by Le Sport Sac...

I intend to use them as my portable stationary case for work... Since I usually need to carry around pens... stapler... co. stamps and ink pad... These pouches are... just the right size.... will help me stay organised without feeling the pinch or 'heartache' if they were to get soiled by ink or dirt...

I bought 2... I couldn't decide which I like better...

and at only S$1.00 each... it was a no brainer steal...

Guess who followed me home from H&M today???

I always drop by the kids and baby department of H&M whenever I am there... to just marvel at all the little miniature outfits... Too cute...

That's when I stumbled on to him...

I have no idea who he is... or what his name is... there were no others like him...

There he was... all alone... in the baby's department of H&M... he was too adorable to just leave behind... especially at just S$7.90...

Made of knitted brown woollen yarn... He has a soft body... big brown eyes and a button nose...
