Gifts From Friends Who Travels...

In this case... a gift from my sister... JC... from her trip to Macau...

Pineapple Tarts... which is kinda strange since I have never hear of Macau for being known for pineapple tarts... albeit Portuguese Pineapple tarts...

The packaging is of course lovely...

But the taste was just mediocre... especially when compared to the recent Taiwan pineapple pie and my fave... Seasons pineapple tarts...The pastry skin was thin but bland... the pineapple filling not too coy but dry...

It was sweet of JC to get them for me... I luv pineapple tarts... but in this case...

Maybe JC should have just stuck with the traditional almond biscuits...
