My Shopping Conquest from Mphosis... Cobalt Blue Foxtail

I love foxtails... Correction... I love FAUX foxtails... The fuller the better... I first fell in love with them last year after seeing them on Louis Vuitton S/S collection by artistic director... who else... but my fave Marc Jacobs... A frenzy hunt yeal 0 results... Of course the LV ones were drool worthy but totally unattainable... 

Then on my trip to Shanghai, I found them... yay... but wait... OMG... you mean they are real???  NO... NO... NO... Evil... Evil... Evil...

Determined to have one that is FAUX... I continued with my search and was rewarded in Bangkok... It was from a street store in Siam Square... A luscious black Faux foxtail with gold hardware and at just S$20... it was a steal...

Desire to own another one fueled on my search... Yes... greedy greedy... But any fashionista will tell you... you need one in every color to go with different looks...

My second foxtail... in an ash grey with lilac highlights was brought home from a obscure fashion shop in Chinatown Pearl Centre... I stumbled on to it while I was there to get my supplies of toiletries... It was swishing in the wind... motioning me towards it... At S$20... deja vu... S$20... It was a steal...

Still the greed continues... I recently accquired my third foxtail from Mphosis... I spotted it in the window display of Mphosis at NgeeAnnCity... A bright Cobalt blue with sliver hardware... its the smallest of the three... the least full... but it was just the right size to clip onto clutches for the 'Celine' A/W look...  At S$20... wait... this is weird... all three different foxtail... from 3 different places... all having the same price???  It was a Sp@@ky steal...

Foxtails are going to be super big this F/W... grab yours if you spot them...
