'Mr Marc & Best Friend' in grey...
As everyone knows... I luv Mr Marc by Marc Jacobs.
I first saw this tee about a year ago in the MBMJ boutique at the than newly opened Mandarin Gallery. I instantly fell in love with how cute and adorable Mr Marc was, in his grey military inspired khakis, buzz cut and his equally handsome, to die for 'best friend' There were 3 colors to choose from... grey, salmon and ash white... but I thought Mr Marc looked his best set against the grey.
Totally drool worthy...
Unfortunately the S$185 price tag was not. I left with Mr Marc etched DEEPLY in my mind...
After 3 days of pondering... searching online... justifying... it was clear to me... how could I resist 2 of my fave... Mr Marc... Dogs/Puppies... TOGETHER... I went back...
But not to get the tee. It was just too over my budget. Instead, I got the olive packable shopper tote sporting the same to die for print at S$120. There were 2 colors to choose from- olive or navy blue but I chose the latter as it was more my color at that time.
Far forward to about 2 weeks ago, during my daily regime of browsing all things MBMJ on ebay... (there are always treasures to be had... so be diligent!) there he was... on ebay... newly listed... in grey!... in my size!! At an amazing price of US$69.99 including priority shipping!!! Who cares if its from 2 seasons ago... I bought it the very instant.
At about S$88...It was a steal...
